Our WhatsApp Rules of Engagement
We often hear that the best part of Founders Forum and Tech Nation events is the ability to connect with other top founders, investors, leaders, and rising stars at the forefront of innovation. That’s why we’ve created this WhatsApp Community — to keep the peer support, advice, and connections flowing 365 days a year. This is a space where you can share challenges, ask questions, spark discussions on pressing topics, request warm introductions, seek recommendations, and share valuable case studies — all while being surrounded by a network of like-minded leaders. By joining any Founders Forum Group (FFG) WhatsApp group, including both Founders Forum and Tech Nation groups, you agree to abide by our community values and uphold a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for all members. Our rules of engagement below:
Be Respectful
Debate ideas, not people. Disagreement is natural but always remain courteous. Avoid language or tone that could be interpreted as rude, aggressive, or dismissive.
Be Inclusive
Welcome diverse perspectives and ensure space for all voices. Avoid dominating conversations; invite contributions from others.
Be Supportive
This is not a sales or marketing channel. Use this space for peer-to-peer support, collaboration, and sharing useful insights. Share opportunities, resources, and constructive advice.
Be Transparent but Professional
Share insights openly but remember all groups in the Founders Forum Group WhatsApp Community (including Founders Forum and Tech Nation groups) operate under The Chatham House Rule: please don’t share other members’ contact details or group contributions without their explicit permission.
Be Empathetic
Listen to understand, not just to respond. Acknowledge different experiences, backgrounds, and constraints. Zero Tolerance for harassment, bullying, discrimination, personal attacks, or the sharing of offensive content. Violations will result in removal from the FFG WhatsApp Community. Be aware of the impact of your words on others — we strive to maintain a supportive environment for everyone.
